Seriously. I'm sick and tired of turning on the news only to see yet another story of Farrah Fawcett on. It's very sad that they are literally waiting for the moment she dies. Give her the respect and privacy she deserves. Media vultures are the worst.

What what what...

Suicidal Stock Trader puppet complete!

A Role Model for the Ages

God, I miss the 90's cartoon version of Wolverine. I'm watching reruns and I'm up to the episode where they've resurrect Red Omega and the CIA has just handed him a fucking nuclear sub whilst touting their American intelligence and superiority.

I actually miss a time where Wolverine couldn't swear but could still openly curse the Soviets and smoke. Yup. Those were the days.

Also, I've just realized my new DeviantID looks a heck of a lot like Kickflip Jones.

Awwwww yeeeeeahhhhhhhh........

Starting. Stop. Motion.

I've begun the long and arduous process of building puppets for a stop-motion short. I first sculpted the head using a wooden dowel with a ball joint and Sculpey III modeling clay. Baking a small sphere of clay around the dowel, I then began molding a proper head. The face was made blank so the eyes, hair, and mouth were added later using Claytoon, which is an easily moldable clay that both comes in an assortment of colors and never dries.

The body was built using 16 gage wire and plumbers epoxy to fasten the arms and legs to the trunk. I've wrapped the frame with knitting yarn, making sure to leave the hands uncovered as they will be fashioned with clay.
